  Have been going to Don's Seafood Hut since 1979 and have always had a GREAT dinning experience. At the Metairie location I would order the Whole Broiled Flounder. At the Hammond and Denham Springs location I get the Seafood Platter, alligator and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. The wit service is always something to be appreciated. They make one heck of a Strawberry Daiquiri and the Budweiser's are always cold.

  It took 30 mins for our food to arrive. The waiter told us that some how our ticket got pushed back. We asked to speak to the manager (Jacob Allen). He told us that 30 mins was not bad and "what did we expect, it was a lent?" The food was good but the service in respects to time was horrible. Would be a much better place if restaurant was adequately staffed for high volume times.
